Another character from a story, this one half-finished and not one of the ones I'm working on. She gives her name as 'Nunya', because it was easier than admitting that she didn't have one and never saw the need of it. In a post-Holocaust world where people are often touched with things known as Winter's Gifts - legacies of the nuclear winter that warped some people, made some of them weaker and others stronger - her appearance is only unusual among humans in that she is healthy, not deformed, and pretty. They would say she got dealt a good hand by Winter and leave it as that, thinking her a human who got the markings of a pard, the dominant species of mid-sized wild cat. They would, however, be wrong - she is a pard. Who caught a very bad case of 'human'. And who now spends her more human moments prowling about and investigating these strange toolusing beasts whose language she now understands.
