This is a watercolour scene from my story 'The Chosen', which is up on the
Wyvern's Library
(shameless plug). I know the colours are a little vague here and there;
the entire sequence is
somewhat dreamlike, so I actually coloured outside the lines on purpose.
A great deal of the
nuancing (especially in the character of James, the (currently a) horse)
was lost in scan, I'm
afraid, and I couldn't manage to argue it into better
behaviour.
